Benbow's Pond
Located at 52.1041 N 2.4790 W. Pond near the home of John and Jane Benbow where many new members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were baptized. The Benbows belonged to the United Brethren church and introduced Wilford Woodruff to its members, leading most of them to convert to the Church of Jesus Christ. Members of the John and Susannah Green, Edward and Susannah Burrup, and William and Mary Phillips families may have been baptized here.
